MCBQThe Motor City Brass Quintet features some of Detroit's most creative and versatile brass musicians, including members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra, making the MCBQ an exciting addition to the diverse musical culture of Metropolitan Detroit.

The quintet's members have taught at institutions including the University of Michigan, the University of Toledo, Grand Valley State University, and Albion College. Experienced educators, the MCBQ performs unique, specialized educational programs geared towards children, as well as presentations for adults in a variety of formats.

This is the MCBQ’s debut CD, and features the premier complete recording of John Harbison's Christmas Vespers, as well as new arrangements of familiar Christmas and holiday music.
