Neal Campbell is the Tuba Artist in Residence for Custom Music Company. In addition to his duties at Tuba World, he is the Tuba/Euphonium instructor at Wayne State University and the University of Toledo. Mr. Campbell has served as Tuba/Euphonium instructor for the University of Michigan All State Program at the Interlochen Arts Camp and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.. He has performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theater, Detroit Chamber Winds, the River City Brass Band, and the Motor City Brass Quintet. Neal has been a guest soloist at the U.S. Army Band Tuba and Euphonium Conference in Washington, D.C. and presents recitals and master classes at various universities and music educator conferences throughout the United States.
Mr. Campbell attended Millikin University, Indiana University and the University of Michigan. His teachers include Russell Tiede, Harvey Phillips, Fritz Kaenzig, Gene Pokorny, David Randolph, Wesley Jacobs and Tucker Jolly.
